Searching the Human Ageing Genomic ResourcesHAGR is divided into sections. The two major databases in HAGR are GenAge and AnAge. GenAge in turn is divided into genes in model organisms and human genes. To search GenAge you can type your query in one of the boxes below. Gene names or symbols are the most common way to search GenAge. If you already know the unique ID of the GenAge entry you want to retrieve, you can type it below. Have in mind, however, that ID numbers are not static. To search AnAge, you can type your query in the box below, normally either species latin names or common names will yield the best results, but you can also search for a given taxon. As above, if you know the AnAge HAGRID of what you are looking for, you can just retrieve below: One powerful way to search the databases is through their bibliography. You can enter keywords appearing in the title or PubMed's accession number, and author names of references not in PubMed. Searching the bibliography works particularly well with GenAge and its large bibliography: But also with AnAge: You can also perform a global search on senescence.info, but that will only search the flat files, not the databases. Lastly, if you do not find what you want in HAGR, you can always search other databases and resources. |
