Lifespan, ageing, and relevant traits
- Observations
Arthropods show an immense diversity in terms of ageing phenotypes. Some species are long-lived with indeterminate growth and no signs of ageing [0002]. The best of such examples is probably the American lobster (Homarus americanus).
